Eli was a dumbass today. He was supposed to take it easy, but he did the full dance for Neverland twice. After the second performance, he looked like he was in SO much pain, all the fans were really worried. They got him off stage quickly, and he sat out on the third performance.
Me, being the loud mouthed, opinionated foreign fan I am, told him off by telling him we’d rather him be in one piece by Friday instead of going all out before it even counts. I asked if he was okay and he gave me a nod and smile.
So then I asked for him to show off the gun show. And he did.
UHUUHUU. ELI, I LOVE YOUR MUSCLES.
And then the KissMe’s asked me what I said, so I taught them the word “gun show”, which might be the most important lesson ever. The girls were like “ELI! GUNSHOW!” and I was CRACKING UP.
“ERAAAIII. GUNSHOW!!!”
Me: Hey Eli!
Eli: Yeah?
Me: I have a message from Tumblr.
Eli: TUMBLR!!!! :D
Me: 1500 people want you to get well soon.
Eli: …Cool! Thanks. :)
Wow, you guys. I’ve been watching the numbers go up today, and I never expected the sign to break 1000 likes and reblogs. You all are amazing, and Eli is going to be really happy when he sees the response.
In case you’re wondering, yes, Eli definitely saw the sign. I saw him scanning the second floor, and he was reading the sign and smiled. The sign seemed pretty clear with the lighting as well. :) The others also saw the sign and were able to make it out, I’m quite sure.
On top of that, a lot of videos cameras were out today, both from the staff and from TV stations, so I made sure the staff cameras got the sign, so they could see it. I got a thumbs up from the camera man, so I’m hoping he makes sure Eli sees it.
(I also got video taped for the MNet channel! I wonder what it might be on…)
I’ve tweeted him the link to the list of people who liked and reblogged, so fingers crossed, he’ll see it soon!!
Thanks again everyone! Making the sign was a lot of fun, but knowing I was helping SO many others share the same message made it even better.
