Wanted! Writers! Graphics! Stuff!

Have you been to a k-pop concert within the past few weeks? Particularly the international concerts such as the Youtube concert, or SM Town? Or the Hari Belia Negara 2012 show in Malaysia (For both the 25th and 26.)

Consider yourself a bit of a writer? Want to get your reviews published to something other than your tumblr feed or personal blog?

K-Soul Magazine is looking for reviews from k-pop concerts from all over the globe. The magazine is in the final stages of development (check out the website for the beta articles! E-Magazine is coming up soon!) and in the coming months will have concert reviews, drama filming locations, information and how tos for fandom in Korea, and interviews with people influential in the Korean wave. We plan to publish e-magazines quarterly, but are always looking for people to submit articles and reviews.

Also, I’m looking for someone who is decent with Photoshop with a few hours free. The magazine needs a few graphics edited into png files (transparent backgrounds!) but I am so so so so so swamped with work, and completely stupid with PS when it comes to things not related to photography, that it would probably be faster for me to ask someone to help me out as a graphics person on the magazine. You’ll get listed as magazine staff for the issue, and you’ll get my unending love. :DDD

Please let me know if anyone is able to help in any way possible. I’ll love you all forever. :D And believe me. You totally want to be supporting this magazine. Fun things are in the works. :)))))

"MBC Must Apologize" Petition →

So I’ve seen a lot of you saying that the MBC thing can’t be ignored. I agree. So does all of Korea. A LOT of annoying stuff went down. Someone has made a petition on Daum Agora that covers all of the sins from New Years Eve. Here’s the list translated.

MBLAQ Sound Issues
U-Kiss accident + Soohyun vocal issue
Teen Top was bunched up with the rookie groups, which isn’t fair to them
Grouping all of the rookie groups together (Ends up making it easier to ignore them as the Nugu Moment)
B1A4 & Teen Top MC mix up
Brown Eyed Girls Sound Issues
FT Island only had one song
Dal Shalbet camera issues
After School sound issues
Beast sound issues
SHINee Sound Issues
Luna (f(x)) Sound Issues
Wonder Girls Sound Issues

Not going to lie: I think that a lot of these don’t really compare to the top few (1, 2 and 5 definitely deserve apologies. The rest are just… things that happen in live TV) but I think that’s it’s better we all band behind one petition, together as Korean based and International based fans.

Oh god, it’s so epic, I can’t even breathe.

See, here’s the deal. My birthday is December 31st. And for 25 years, it’s been a really shitty time to have a birthday. Friends with significant others couldn’t make time and everything was hyper expensive to get into.

AND THEN MY 26TH BIRTHDAY CAME UP AND THINGS JUST GOT BEAUTIFUL.

If I get tickets in (and so help me god, I will get in), this is what I’ll see. (Strikeout means I don’t care. Bigger bolder font means omfg)
